I'm helping a friend with his Omega TNY modified LK800-NTC amplifier (the
'no tune' or what I call 'fixed tuned' model.
I think it needs the preset tuning adjusted, is there a bulletin or
service manual for this amplifier??
Looks a little daunting, since half of the capacitors are behind the
filter cap and rectifier board.
I come to this conclusion since when driving it to 1500ma of plate current
@ 2700v on key down, it's only putting out about 1500 watts. Last service
at Omega showed 2.5kw into dummy load.
Something is not right. Not finding a lot of documentation so far.
Any leads out there?
