That is exactly what it acts like. I hope that is all it is. I have it 
apart right now to finish cleaning it (it is owned by a smoker and from 
the looks of the dirt and dust it has never been taken apart since he 
bought it 10+ years ago, the blower blades were all but plugged full of 
stuff), once I get it back together, I'll check it out again.
