All,
We may be seeing more of this as Yahoo has changed their mail system to
incorporate
'social networking' features as represented by MySpace and Facebook.
and/or LinkedIn (Corporate MySpace) So a new user and ham
if they already use social networking software may think this is an
appropriate venue and is attempting to 'Friend' other Hams. without
realizing
that this is considered inappropriate by the community at large. All
communities have distinct values and Web 2.0 is no different in that respect
This is an education issue and probably should be dealt with by the List
Admins.
