Yesterday there was an Alpha Project that had apparently been a botched 
6-meter conversion of a 76A, or the owner just gave up. At any rate 
although it looked like crap, (a work in progress) it appeared most of 
the PS section including the transformer was there. Only one tube with 
one missing, the front panel was gone and most of the push button 
switches were a bit worse for wear, BUT the "buy it now" price was only 
$425 and the parts alone were worth well more than that even if the tube 
was shot. It was "pick up only" in Little Rock Arkansas though.  Guess I 
could have gotten down there in the Deb in about 4 hours. OTOH the 
transportation (Gas at 14.5 GPH or about 8X14.5=116 Gallons of AvGas)  
would have made the price look like a really good bargain. <:-))
