I'm nw looking into a relay to switch the amp into transmit. I now use a manual
switch to put 24v onto the relay in back that switches the rig/antenna
directions and also the other side of the double pole single throw switch
grounds out a resistor divider to pull the -130v up to -60v on the control
grid. I did this to ease construction but I want to now be able to throw the
"operate" switch without the amp going into transmit until I key or ptt the
rig, its a ts940 and I see an amp relay built in on the remote din in back,
looks like it'll go to ground. I put 24v on one side of the relay and use the
940 din to finish the connection to gnd. seems to work...what I am looking for
are any more
suggestions on how to do this. let me know if I was vague on anything, trying
to not BABBLE!
