Hi all,
Found one of these at a tiny fest in upstate, NY.......real cheap,
but it has a problem. The owner told me it trips whenever drive is applied.
I'm thinking it could be something north of the amp.......tuner, coax,
antenna.....something that can't handle QRO. I got to pull the cover and it
passed the visual and sniff test.
Once I enlist my wifes help (I'm still recovering from abdominal
reconstructive surgery and can't lift that much weight) to get it in the
house, I'll try it with my 2KW Bird Dummy load and see what happens. Hope
the 3CX800 isn't smoked.
Anyone have any experience with these amps?
