I have one socket in my SB-220 that seems particularly prone to melting the
solder out of the filament pins on my 3-500Zs. I presume this is because the
spring contacts have gradually lost their temper. Is it possible to obtain new
contacts only, and to change them out? Alternatively, is it feasible to swap
contacts with the grid pins on this socket, on the assumption that the
connections have less stringent conditions?
