There is a SHV connector which has a long shielded cylinder that extends some distance from past the BNC like part. They are commonly used with HV connectors in scientific applications. They are expensive but very good and safe. Pasternack has plugs for17 to $25 each and sockets for around same range. There are some that are even longer. RG59 Cable is good for well over 5kV DC voltages.
