I quite agree, Mike. Unfortunately, I guess the hype is overdone. For
relatively low performance applications, I guess you can get away with
current DSP approaches at a low IF, but not for the top line stuff.
There are some things I don't understand about bandwidths and numbers of
bits and noise floors in ADCs, so I'm going to talk to my immediate boss
(who is a DSP expert)
