Good morning all

I am new on this list and I am in need of some assistance to get my amp (s)
going again.

1/2 hour before the contest this weekend my Acom 2000A developed a arc fault,
more on that later in another mail, so to get going I put my old 86 in its
place that had been in storage for the last xx years.
After the warm up suddenly all the lights on the front panel went dark and a
electric burning smell was sensed.
Inspection showed that cap C2 on the low voltage power supply went out. I
changed it out with a new electrolyte of the same value and I got ALL the
lights back on.....
Unfortunately this is what I got now:
-The "RF output KW" and "reflected power" bar-graphs go full scale the moment I
switch on the amp
-The moment I TX, the bar-graphs show normal outputs
-"Grid current Ma" and "tune" bar-graphs work normal
-RX fuse on the TR was blown
-Output of the amp seems to be normal
-Last user before storing the amp was someone I loaned the amp to, I did not
try it after his return, so not sure if these issues developed during storage
or before that.

Anyone can give me tips on where to check next to get the girl going again?
Any help appreciated as shipping the amp from here to a repair center is a big
no-no.....

73's de P43A, Jean-Pierre
