I want to say thanks for all the reply's I got to my problem in my SB-220
and mostly to Gary K5JWK who pointed me in the right direction. I had
completely stripped down the amp to clean the chassis because it was down
right filthy from a filament transformer meltdown sometime in it's past and
sitting in the rain forest take my word for it was filthy. When I
reassembled it I had inadvertently installed the tank band 180 degrees out
so that was where the problem was. I can now say it is working just fine now
and doing better than I thought it would.

Here is the power output I get into a dummy load and 100W drive readings
from a Palstar PM2000AM Peak reading meter.

               CW SSB

80 1180 | 1500

40 1190 | 1500

30 1050 | 1250

20 1080 | 1300

17 900 | 1080

15 1000 | 1150

12 925 | 1050

10 700 | 925

Thanks Again
