Correct. Just looked it up in "Solid State Radio Engineering" by Krause,
Bostinian and Raab.
For a series circuit: Q=X/R
Q is defined as:
(2*pi*maximum instantaneous energy stored in the circuit)/energy
dissipated per cycle
This is the general definition for Q of any circuit at resonance.(pg 41)

Correct again.
Pages 78 and 79 of the book have all the useful formulas for
parallel-series conversions for RL and RC networks:
Xp=wLp (w=greek omega, not our w)
Qp=Rp/Xp
Xs=wLs
Qs=Xs/Rs
That says it. Peter is correct.
