The only thing I know of that could destroy a Mosley antenna was what
happened to me: tower crash! I have salvaged traps from a TA36; if you or
anyone needs them you can have them for the cost of packing and shipping.
When this antenna was up, it easily handled the (old) legal limit).

Hi,

Any one out there actually experience a case of Mosley trap
failure; as used on their larger trapped beams: Pro series,
TA-34, etc.

If so, what power level, and if at legal level, at what vswr??

How did it fail? Open coil "wire", cap short?

Any info appreciated, thanks and Happy Holidays,
