I noticed that one of the leading manufacturers uses multiple 50, 75 and
150pF ceramic disc caps in the tank circuit for padding, yet most use
doorknob transmitting type, is there any pitfalls to this? Also, most load
air variables are split 190pF - 60pF which I would assume help tuning on the
higher bands. Am I too far off base here?
