Nothing to do with original Western Electric. However, the new Western
Electric tubes are or will be made in the US. I forget the owner's name
but there was a discussion about this on the Antique Radios form in the
Tubes and Parts Discussion very recently. Their initial products are or
will be desirable audio tubes not large transmitting tubes. I plan to
email them also about 3-500Z production but that is a huge difference from
making a 6L6!
