Sounds like a situation with light loading. The plate voltage swing has
reached a maximum and will not go higher.
Are you tuning up with full plate voltage and full drive?
When you increase the drive do you also readjust for maximum output?
Is the plate current dip on tuning sharper than normal?
Are the tune and load capacitors in the right position?
Is the band switch still making contact correctly?
Is the roller inductor in the right position?
