The bad news is the caps alone are around $800.
You mean there's no way to gut the old board and fit in a home made capacitor
filter board?
Even new, full retail cost of new caps is a small fraction of that price.
I'm not familiar with the amp, but gosh, a vector board filled with Nichicon
caps HAS to be able
to be fitted in there somewhere. Even at an outrageous $10 each you're only
looking at maybe $80 for caps.
Diodes are essentially free, 3 watt bleeders are only several bucks for a whole
set.
$800 ????? !!!!!
