[Amps] Ameritron EBS-1 in AL-1200?

The electronic bias switch circuit may cause additional IMD during soft
syllables, but in normal Ameritron amplifiers it does not cause any hot
switching of T-R relays because the amplifier remains "keyed" as long as the
key line signal from the exciter is present. It only switches bias between
"near cutoff" and "operating," but the T-R relay contacts, both exciter and
amp out sides, remain keyed the whole time. -WB2WIK/6
