Yes Krish has got the idea.
I worked a station the other day who had built a similar box and he was able
to transmit through one amp and then drop transmission for half a second and
come back on the second amplifier.
You don't have to have both amplifiers on the same band. Maybe leave one amp
tuned for 40m and tune the other for various bands.
I have a Titan 425 and it seems to take about 5 minutes to warm up and come
on line. My 922 is pretty instaneous. It would be nice to use either amp
without having to mess around with wiring at the back of the shack.
The inputs of the 922 and Ten Tec are designed for about 100 watts. Putting
1500 watts through those inputs will most likely fry something or several
things.
