You noted in another post that you had biased the tubes for zero idling
current?? If so, FYI my AL-82 runs about 150 ma on CW and about 75 ma on
SSB when idling. I gather that your 750W was key down CW mode?

Bill, No, it uses "self" cut off bias which gives an idle current of 100
ma, 750w key down in ssb position on amp.
