Hi Bob, Maximum or "heavier" loading occurs when C2 (load) plates are less
meshed.

Less loading = MORE load C
More loading = LESS load C

As Tom W8JI noted, proper and safer tune-up occurs when all the dipping +
loading produces maximum power output with no more adjustment, then you
unmesh the load plates (heavier loading) a bit. This will reduce your grid
current and not take but a few watts off the peak power output.
