What I do is have a temp gauge mounted at the exhaust vent and I keep tabs on the air leaving. Granted, I don't use the amp for RTTY (never needed too) I am a net controller for a rather popular net. www.3905ccn.com<http://www.3905ccn.com/> (shameless plug). I typically run temps of 100 F idling and upto 200 degrees talking.
