I have my 1968 Raytrack DX2000L on the 'bench' and I have it pretty much
going, it is now putting out about 900-1000 watts into a Heath Cantenna
measured by an MFJ which was once (years ago ) ck'd against a Bird at 500
watt level into the same cantenna and wires...

Now that I have a scope I thought about using it to ck the PEP. Can you
hook the scope directly to the rca jack on the cantenna or is another method
needed?

Here are some pix of the Raytrack

How does PEP power 'normally' relate to Key Down CW power output?

How much can you afford to spend? Want a cheap PEP wattmeter? two
words: used oscilloscope. Accuracy? Reference it to RF ampmeter
reading of some cw RF on a 50 ohm load.
