I've gotten a few burns. I think they are worse than regular burns, and they
take a long time to heal. Most of them were when I was in ham radio as a kid
of 16. I had a Johnson Valiant and an EV 664 mic., whenever my lips touched
the mic. I'd get a tickle and if I kept them there the tickle would turn into
a burn. I knew it was RF, but had no clue as to what to do about it!
On another topic. Do you guys know anyone who has been severely injured as a
result of high voltage? Working on Amps can be very dangerous. I know a guy
who got hit with 50,000 volts and LIVED, although his vocabulary and memory
is now severely limited as a result.
