I converted a Heath SB-1000 to six and it works fine.  I would suggest
if you decide to do this with any of the Heath models, don't replace
the plate tune capacitor with a vacuum variable as is suggested by
some authors.

Instead, use a L-network impedance transformation circuit as described
in the ARRL handbook in the HF amplifier section.  That's what I did
and it allows you to use the existing tune and load capacitors.  Works
great and saves a lot of unnecessary modifying.
