Hi all,
I'm not sure to whom this message should be directed. Today and
yesterday I was sent a virus apparently originating on this list. This
pattern is that I get a personal response to an email I posted to
CQ-Contest from a known subscriber, saying, e.g., the following:

The attachment is a WORM, in this case labelled Hamster.ZIP.scr.
Yesterday's was called docs.scr.
It sounds like someone is trolling the list and trying to create
havoc. Hopefully, the list managers can respond. Good luck!

[Note from cq-contest list manager: Not sure what we can do to help
out. Attachments
are stripped and not forwarded. If individual/personal messages with
viruses attached
are going to those posting messages we can't do much about it. Filtering
on the list
routinely keeps one or two virus a week from being passed
along... Suggestions or
ideas invited if we've missed anything.]
