There may be a difference between "doesn't want" as in "doesn't care" on the
one hand and "wishes for it not to be there" on the other. ----- Original Message ----- From: "N7MAL" <N7MAL@CITLINK.NET> To: <cq-contest@contesting.com> Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 12:23 PM Subject: [CQ-Contest] Follow-up Line Scores I am now in receipt of several documents relating to publishing line scores. I only gave them a cursory glance because like any good contester I have antenna wok to do before the contest starts this afternoon. My first impression, however, is to throw my QST in the fireplace. Does anyone remember what year line scores were dropped from QST? There is a very informative story in the June QST which says almost 1/3 of the ARRL membership doesn't want contesting 'stuff' in the magazine while only 7% want it. What would be the ramification if overnight 7% of the QST circulation vanished? Why am I a member of the ARRL when almost 1/3 of the membership doesn't want me and my kind(contesters) around?
