One good thing for us SO1R's is when the SO2R lingers too long on the
"other" band trying to log someone. That gives you a shot at a clear
frequency to start calling CQ. It is not courteous to keep others waiting
while you screw around on the other band. Or when they just go to repeat on
the CQ DVR. That is a good indication to jump in. No one owns the frequency.

Successful SO2R depends on having the proficiency such that those you work
don't know you're SO2R.
