Seeing this on the reflector, I downloaded TR4W on Monday just to take a
look. I'm a little pistol SO1R operator and just use my radio interfacing to
the 850, lpt cw keying and a voice keyer through the sound card, so I'm far
from taxing the software. But I did a quick fake contest, created the
cabrillo file after that, and I found TR4W to work well in the short test. I
didn't try the voice keying, but I doubt there would be any problem there.

A year ago Dmitriy was kind enough to add some incredible SSB voice keying
modifications for me which other software authors would not do. In a month
or two, I will be writing up the specifics. One of the coolest features I
requested now working is for those who also use pre-recorded callsign.wav
files. If you work someone with no precorded file (i.e., TR4W then uses
individual letter and number .wav voice files), a special .txt file of
unrecorded .wav file callsigns is automatically generated and appended to
for later (and easily) adding these pre-record new .wav callsigns. This is
like, umh, Mega Cool :^)

Another nifty recent tweak Dmitriy did just in time for my VP2VVA trip:
Until I get my X-Keys remounted on my Ergonomic keyboard, having to move or
jerk my hand to the right to press the ENTER key is very UNcool. Now, we
can program <03>ENTER<04> into any of the F Keys ... so all you have to do
is extend a finger upward to also get ENTER functionality. I used F11 but
will probably swap that with F10 and use F11 for the triggering the SEND CW
dialog window to open.

I love TR4W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
