I will start by stating I am a casual contester so if I am missing something
please tell me. In the CQWW this weekend, in my single band effort I made 2
"No Point" contacts to get my "3" & "5" zone multipliers (I was lucky enough to
get a "4" from a VE). I only worked 15M but if I had worked all bands wouldn't
I have to get a 3, 4 & 5 multiplier for each band I worked? If I had to have a
multiplier I would find the loudest, best operated station I could and get the
contact (which is what I did). I would have to find a "Running" station to do
so as I could not get them from an other S&P station. And if I did and that
"Running" station NILed my contact to "teach me a lesson" (my verbiage, not in
the original post) how would I get the needed mults in the next contest that
has the same rule? I agree with most that contacts in your own country should
count for something, but that is not the way the rule is written now.
Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

With nearly 1200 zero point qso's and my average hourly rate of just under 90
per hour...that's a lot of wasted hours!!! Its time for the contest committee
from CQ to step to the plate and "do the right thing" its time for one point
per qso in one's own country!!!
