I was a really observer at my own home,
while OH2MM worked here. Condx
weren't great but good enough to allow
those 1900 QSOs. My surprise was
04 contacts on 160m and 60 contacts
on 80m, using no more than 500 watts
and a 20m high Alpha Delta Sloper
for 40-80-160 meters.
HQ stations really fill the bands, but
not like two years ago, seems to me!
I still need to come back low power
and feels about propagation conditions,
despite my 20m High Power Single
Band operations last 3 years.
Anyway, dipoles or beams, 10,
100 or 1000 watts, the more important
is to be there...
