WRTC2002 ORGANIZING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES THE
COMPLETE LIST OF OFFICIAL ON-SITE REFEREES
The WRTC2002 Organizing Committee has endorsed the full
list of WRTC2002 on-site Referees, as proposed by Roger
Western, G3SXW and Olli Rissanen, OH0XX/OA4DMR. These two
gentlemen are responsible for the on-site Referee management
function.
We received more than 100 highly-qualified applications.
Therefore the sub-committee had no choice but to establish
the optimum Referee profile and hold a democratic vote amongst
the WRTC2002 event management. This resulted in the following
list of fine contesters who are now selected as official
Referees for WRTC2002:

We have appointed 16 OH referees. Here the underlying
reason is that several host families may have difficulty
communicating with the competitors in English, which is a
third language in Finland.
In case of any cancellations the WRTC2002 committee will
maintain a list of reserve Referees and will call upon them
to fill any vacancies. If you applied to be a Referee but
were not selected then we hope very much that you will
still be able to join us in Finland.
