How do we know that most uniques are really copying errors? I have made
many single band contest entries using large antennas and won by working
every station possible. Many of the stations that I work are casual ops
that only make a few contacts.

Nothing like misquoting Randy's comment ! What he actually said was:

"Most unique calls are copying errors. "

That's a lot different from your misquote of "which are....obviously
busted call signs".
