I never said you were wrong about the lack of dx recognition, but it
seems that you have a beef with qrp'ers getting recognition. I request
that your suggestions not be to eliminate ANY qrp coverage in ANY
contest. To eliminate qrp recognition in any major contest is a bad
idea.
Furthmore, I typically hear lots of DX stations calling CQ or calling
US/VE stations with no response. Having been on the dx side in a 160
contest (TI in 1995) I know what it is like to not be heard, so I don't
blame the dx for not getting on. Adding a DX top ten list will do
nothing to increase dx participation if that is your point.
The ARRL 160 contest has been and will always be a stateside only
contest with dx used to give the east coast the advantage in winning.
But, I enjoy it none the less.
