Hello Contesters!
The telegraphy portion of the 50th edition of the WAE-DX-Contest
is scheduled for the next weekend, August 14/15. The SSB portion will
follow on September 11/12 and RTTY rounds it up on November 13/14.
The contest will start on Saturday, 0000z. Non-EU stations look
for stations in Europe on the bands 10-80 meters. Exchange RST
and serial number. Before you start wondering what "QTC?" means,
take a look at the current rules.
Since this is WAEDC's 50th anniversary, some special activities will
be on the air during that event. What's more is the WAEDC Super Bowl
- a lottery with 50 prizes to be won including a full-blown contest
transceiver. Please take a look at the announced activities on our
Web site http://www.waedc.de to find current rules, information on
software, QTC traffic, announced activities, last year's and historic
results and other interesting material.
