Good day everyone one
All of the certificates for the 2008 Canada Day contest have been
completed. Those who submitted their logs via email have had the
certificate sent out to them via email. If you think yours has gone
astray or was eaten by your e-Mail SPAM filter, please let me know
and I can resent the file.
With the economic climate being what it is and the challenges of ever
increasing costs, the RAC Contest Management team has decided to
switch from paper certificates to electronic versions in Portable
Document Format (PDF).
In this initial phase, we will be e-Mailing the 2008 certificates to
each person we have e-Mail address for from the submitted logs for
each contest. We are working with RAC H.Q. to have the certificates
hosted on the RAC web site so participants can download their
certificate at their leisure as well as providing an archive of the
material starting with 2008.
There will be no change to the plaque program. They will be sent out
by RAC H.Q.
With some recent challenges at RAC H.Q. we are behind getting the
2008 plaques out, but the backlog is getting caught up and we hope to
see the plaques on their way to the winners in the next couple of
months. Please accept our apologies for these delays.
If you are not sure whether a certificate is due to you, please check
out the 2008 contest results here:

Seasons greetings to you and yours!
