Hi to all, Rcv'd the following e-mail from
Dave Sumner, K1ZZ this morning. Have a look
at the position paper/comment request document,
and then be SURE to e-mail in your feelings/
desires, etc regarding continuing
or drop CW as a req for HF operating
license as an international treaty need, and
as a need in the good ol'US in the next century.

Subject: Amphenol Coax barrels
Message-ID: <199605210229.UAA09516@zeus.initco.net>

In the discussion a while ago pertaining to CATV cable/connectors, there
were some comments made about dissasembling amphenol barrell connectors for
the purpose of being able to then solder them into the appropriate
"reducer." This is done to prevent destruction of the dialectric in the barrel.

My question: How the heck do you get that little snap ring out of the barrel
end so you can take the guts out of it?

Thanks, Matt
