I'll be in the ARRL SSB contest, 20m band. I would like to ask to the
folks from N.A. to turn the beams
to S. America, from time to time. As I work barefoot using a horizontal
quad, It's hard to hear stations
from N.A. S 9 plus and get tired calling with no answer. Several times
the operator, working Europe or
Japan, asks "PT2? agn" and keep on calling the others, giving up hearing
me with only one chance and
no rotating the beam. We down here know there are lots of multipliers
waiting for you in another direction
but, try to fell like a S. American ham. It's hard to only watch things
happening. I say thanks, in advance
to the thousands of N.A. hams that will pay attention to us down here.
