Really?  It was such a bad, non-viable idea that the WRTC-2006 in Brazil
implemented it as a rule requirement.

If you're serious about trying to win, set up a recording device on your
computer and record the contest.  Simple.  Casual entrants -- 95% or more of
the contesting population -- are exempted from having to do so.

Submit your log and the recording of the contest.  If there is a question about
your log by a contest sponsor, the recording can be consulted.  

Most everyone's log is public already, and this has been hailed as a Good
Thing(tm) for radio contesting.  I think public logs are a great idea.  There
are tons of them posted on the CQ WW site right now.  

Serious entrants being required to submit a complete recording ought to be
required.
