And that has happened, and logs have been withdrawn, but does that educate
the 'masses' that such things are being watched and are out of bounds? How
much publicity is given by the contest sponsors as to WHY a log is dq'ed or
reclassified?? By doing it in here I know that the word has gotten back to
some who's actions may not have been dq-worthy, but are still not ethical.
And that others who may consider cheating using the cluster network know
they are being watched. The contest sponsors do get my raw data, and they
also do other checks with it against the logs themselves, some of which I
wish they would publish for the world to see... though like when I started I
think they want to keep their methods secret so cheaters don't figure out
how to bypass them. I am more hoping that I have made it so much more work
to hide your cheating that it becomes counter productive.
