After suffering from nerve pain from a bulging disk and arthritis in my
back, I recently bought a Leap 2 chair by Steelcase. It's not cheap but
has very aggressive and fully adjustable lumbar support, which was my
particular need. Whatever you do, I urge you to go to a large store
specializing in chairs and beds (we have a chain of what are called
Healthy Back Stores in our area), and try out everything they have
before buying. You'll probably want to buy on the Internet, though -
prices tend to vary a lot between sellers. Beware of refurbished chairs
- and whatever warranty they may have (or not).
