Get on and work the schools in the School Club Roundup (Oct 19-23). That
will get the kids excited about making QSOs, if they want to chat, let
them; if they want to run, let them.
I have mentored Middle School kids that have had impressive runs on 20m
using 100w and a windom. Unfortunately only a couple got their
Technician License. However one has done two FD now.
