I didn't provide an answer on the below-cited examples as it would take
an entire log to review excerpts.
That is like asking whether $5.50 a liter for snozzwanger juice is too high or too low....If there is no context, how could anyone provide an educated guess. 73 Rich NN3W On 5/9/2015 5:13 AM, Dmitry Stashuk wrote: Hi, Rich. I don't have entire contest record. I did make dual CQ record at Randy's K5ZD personal request. Hi did ask me exactly about. To record all the contest I need an extra computer with at least 500gb hdd or more which not so easy to bring with me to overseas. If rules will require this, I will do. Actually you didn't say something on examples below. Can you scan up to 30 khz in 2-3 minutes and find few mults on overcrowded band as in this examples? 73's Dim UT5UGR -------- Исходное сообщение -------- От: Richard F DiDonna NN3W <richnn3w@verizon.net> Дата:09.05.2015 0:58 (GMT+02:00) Кому: cq-contest@contesting.com Тема: Re: [CQ-Contest] CQ WW CW 2014 TO7A. Well given that a log analysis was done based on the totality of a log, there is no way to judge a log excerpt in isolation. How about this, why don't you post the entire 48 hour video of your effort and we will then be able to decide without question. Seem reasonable? 73 Rich NN3W On 5/8/2015 4:52 PM, Dmitry Stashuk wrote:Hi, Rich. Just one question to you as you are S&P expert. I'm not going to make any presumptions, but I noted many of the same issues that Ken saw. Some very LARGE VFO swings in a matter of one or two minutes - and only hitting multipliers on the other radio. Having done a lot of S&P work, I have difficulty making a 30 KHz swing in two minutes on CW - and hitting multipliers as the only QSOs. 73 Rich NN3W On 5/7/2015 6:38 PM, Ken Widelitz wrote:Hi Steve,I've looked fairly carefully at the TO7A log.The operator is expertly interweaving QSOs using dueling CQs on two bands almost the entire contest. There are a few short successful mult passes where there appears to be no CQing. There are some instances of very juicy mults appearing over fairly large swaths of frequencies in short time periods that do raise questions. There are other periods that I feel don't quite fall into that category, but others might have a differing opinion. I have enumerated the ones I find might have drawn the attention of the CQWW Committee and influenced their decision to issue a DQ.IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: What I view as potentially questionable does not equate to DEFINITIVE evidence of assistance. It could be the results of a great operator. At 0708 - 0710 there are three mults on 80m while running high rate on another band.At 0727 - 0740 there are a lot of mults on 40m while running high rate on another band.At 0934 - 0938 there are a couple of mults while running high rate on another band.At 1013 - 1014 there are two mults on 15m 26 khz apart that make you wonder if you can tune that fast in S&P, but it is early and there aren't many signals on the band. Maybe it was professional use of a bandscope. At 1403 - 1411 there are 7 mults on 10m stretched over 50 khz. Tuning 50 khz while working 7 QSOs on the run frequency in 9 minutes is impressive. Maybe it was professional use of a bandscope. At 1847 - 1850 there are 3 mults on 10m over 30 khz while running on 15m. Maybe it was professional use of a bandscope. At 0903 - 0913 there is an instance of jumping off a 40m CQ frequency, working a mult 12 khz away and jumping back to the CQ frequency within 3 minutes while working an additional 3 mults on 80m.Again, these are simply my observations. As Steve, N2IC stated, you view the log and draw your own conclusions.73, Ken, K6LA / VY2TT_______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest_______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest_______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
