I recently got one of these keyboards:

It is NOT compact and it is very similar to an IBM model M.  All the
keys are full size with good travel and feel.  No "chiclet" type keys.

At $14.99 shipped, it is a bargain.  If they ever come out with a
wireless version, I'll get that one, this is a touch-typist's keyboard.
