Sad news received from Sean Fleming, K8KHZ today...Sean's father and Marsha
N8FE's husband, John Fleming K8UP has become an SK following a short illness.
He was a member of Mad River Radio Club and South Eastern Michigan DX
Association. John was an A-1 OP member and an active District Emergency Manager
in the Michigan Section. He had over 200 DXCC Entities was a member of QCWA.
Contesters at Dayton know will well remember John's friendly smile - I
thoroughly enjoyed sharing a dinner table with John and Marsha at the annual
Contest Dinner this year. I know I speak for the entire contest community in
extending our sympathies and condolences to the Flemings.
