Subject: [QSOParty] NEW! State QSO Party Mobile/Portable Challenge

On behalf of the State QSO Party Group, it is my pleasure to announce a new
SQP Challenge competition for 2025. It is the SQP Mobile/Portable
Challenge. This is an 'overlay' competition in which all participants must
be qualified for the State QSO Party Challenge program to participate in
this competition. Ops can qualify for SQP Challenge by participating in the
QP contests from home or mobile/portable.
The purpose for this new SQP Challenge competition is to encourage more
operators to consider running mobile/portable in the QP contests. We also
wanted to publicly recognize the mobile/portable ops for their willingness
to invest their time and resources so that we can enjoy chasing them.
Now is the time for you to dust off your extra rig and go mobile/portable
in your home state or regional QP. I've heard that the pile-ups are huge
and endless.
I can't wait to watch the SQP Mobile/Portable Leaderboard during 2025. The
leaderboard will be updated frequently during the SQP Challenge contest
season.
