ConTest University (CTU) and the Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC) are proud
to announce that two hours of Contest University USA in Dayton (on May 19th)
will be available live -  online ? via Webinars. Ken, K4ZW will be on hand
at CTU to run live Webinars from the Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Dayton,
Ohio.

The two hours of CTU will be covered by TWO Webinars. We are pleased to
bring a sample of the CTU experience to the contesting web audience.

The first Webinar will start at 8 AM Eastern Daylight time (USA EDT) and
will finish at 9 AM EDT.
This one hour will include the opening welcome to CTU USA and the first
session of CTU USA taught by Doug Grant, K1DG. ?Contesting the Right Way?.

The second Webinar will start at 4 PM EDT and end at 5 PM EDT.
This one hour session will include the final part of CTU USA taught by Rob
Sherwood, NC0B. ?Contest Radio Performance? ? with his focus on ?Transceiver
Performance, What?s New in the Last Year? as well as the closing comments
for CTU USA

There are 25 other sessions that will occur in-between these two Webinar
sessions. Classes are taught in four class rooms at the same time AND the
new Youth CTU will going on in classroom number 5! You can see the entire
CTU USA schedule here
http://www.contestuniversity.com/main/page_course_outline.html

We know that to gain the full benefit of a Contest University, it is best to
attend in person, however, this Webinar is a ?try and see how it goes? for a
small portion of CTU to be shared via the web. We do not know what we will
do in the future ? if more sessions will be available, etc.

Ken, K4ZW will send out the standard Webinar registration information on
this reflector (cq-contest) for each CTU USA Webinar this Thursday. There is
no charge for the Webinars and each session will be recorded with links
posted to the PVRC page after the Webinars are completed.

Due to the nature of the large in person attendance in Dayton at CTU, we
will not be able to accept questions from the Webinar audience during these
two sessions.

I hope this gives many more contesters around the world an opportunity to
experience some of what CTU offers.

73,
Tim K3LR
