CQ France - Normandy
Ana (PU2VYT) and I will travel to Normandy (F) next June 01, returning to
Brazil June 10 night. The trip is thematic, with emphasis to 65 years of
D-Day, repeating our previous trip (2004 - 60 years of Day D) - pictures in:

I have special interest for Contemporary History and in that past occasion
we followed the commemorations at Point-du-Hoc and lose the possibility to
attend the event at Utah Beach, with the authorities of diverse countries.
We obtain access thanks to a "ride" with "Stephen Ambrose Historical Tours".
Walk around Normandy without the "guest" badge that we received from Ambrose
guys, specially at june 6, could be impossible!
We will stay at Isigny-sur-Mer, not so far from Omaha and Utah. We would
like to receive, in our private e-mail, the maximum amount of information
about any special WW II veterans meetings at any place around D-Day beaches.
We will be also grateful with good restaurants and bistrots sugestions,
especially those not full of tourists, but usually frequented by local
people.
I will try to ask for permission and operate TM6JUN for a while, located in
the Museum of Utah Beach, as I made in 2004.

J'ai spécial intérêt par Histoire Contemporain et à cette occasion (2004)
nous accompagnons les commémorations dans Point-du-Hoc et perdons la
possibilité d'assister l'événement à Utah Beach, avec les autorités de
divers pays. Nous réussissons accès grâce à un «auto-stop» avec l'autobus
d'Ambrose Excursions.
Nous resterons dans Isigny-sur-Mer, non très éloigné d'Omaha et d'Utah. Nous
aimerions recevoir, dans notre courrier électronique privé, la plus grande
quantité possible d'informations, spécialement sur des réunions spéciales
des vétérans de la 2ª Guerre.
Aussi nous serons reconnaissants avec des indications de bonne restaurants
et bistrots, spécialement ceux non cherchés par les touristes, mais
fréquentés usuellement par les habitants locaux.
Je chercherai, encore, à opérer TM6JUN localisée dans le Musée d'Utah Beach,
comme j'ai fait dans 2004.
