I think the danger there is that I (and many others) will almost certainly
respond after "CQ PY2NY...." and never be heard.
We are in a contest, after all, and generally quite good at copying Morse. If
I'm in S&P mode on a contest weekend and hear "CQ" then that triggers the
thought "that station is in the contest". My "contest brain" then kicks into
an automatic expectation "the next Morse will be his callsign and establishes
an unthought short circuit from my eardrums to the keyboard to copy your call
and mash the "enter" button. Anything after "CQ PY2NY" is unexpected (if I
don't key up quickly) and only serves to take me out of that "contest brain"
zone.
