Greetings Diddlers:

A solid bounce back to double digit participation last week. Some regulars
were back along with some new(er) stations.

Welcome to N8URE. Stephen brought the rare WV mult to NS, and he did it QRP.
NCCC member Tom, K6EU, was also with us for the second time. Welcome guys, and
I hope we can keep you coming back for more.

A note for those of you who are subscribers to NCCC-blue: the transition to
groups.io has been made, so be sure to update your saved email address.

I wasn’t paying attention last week and missed calling out the SPDX RTTY test
(tnx W6SX for keeping me honest!). This weekend does have some digital
activity mixed in with other modes. The ARI DX test for those of you needing a
taste of DX on RTTY, and for those leaning toward stateside activity several
QSO parties have digital modes active (7 Call Area, Delaware, and New England).
So plenty to put those diddles to good use.

Please join us Thursday evening and warm up the diddle machines for a problem
free weekend..

Here are the details for our usual Thursday evening session:
Friday, 4 May 2018, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 3 May 2018 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (other time zones in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15/10 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q or band change
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band
-- 100W power limit

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules and links
to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please let me know
so we can get them fixed.

If you would like to receive all the latest info about NS as well as a have a
place for comments and questions, sign up for the NS mailing list:
https://groups.io/g/nccc-blue <-- Note the new address!

For something new (and exciting?), give the live scoreboard a try at
https://contestonlinescore.com . Set up your logger to report and select the
NCCC NA RTTY SPRINT on the web page to display the scores. The Help menu
pulldown will give you the info needed to setup the most common logging
programs.

Don’t forget to report your score to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on
3610 kHz (+/- a few for ongoing groups) for comments and questions (and dinner
menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
